7th Birthday Down the Road

She's full of life, but can easily feel defeat. She is highly intelligent, but she is not conceited. She is beautiful both in spirit and physically. She never ceases to impress me with her imagination and process of thought. She is the prefect big sister always showing an ease of assistance. Six has been a big year of accomplishments. I'm excited to witness what comes next. 

 

Where has the year gone?

Absolute delight. Enough said. He's a boy. He's a handful, but he is full of fun and adventure. 

 

A Fairy Garden

 Our coop decided to adopt a nursing home and each coop family was assigned a resident. We decided to make a Fairy garden within a shoebox based off a garden we like to frequent. The idea is to bring a little bit of the outdoors into the the resident's room. Since most of the items collected are from the outdoors I did run into a couple natural occupants probably wondering why we had taken their home, but all for the sake of art, right? Anyway, the kids did a great job of collecting pieces on our nature walks then assembling a beautiful home for the fairies. Hopefully it will hold up well in the transportation to its new home.
