Christmas Traditions

This will be our fourth year going to Moseley Old Time Christmas Tree Farm, a small privately owned farm about 20 minutes from our home. The trees always bless our home and has become an actual reoccurring tradition that we love getting dressed for a photo op. With the beautiful weather the day was all the more special. Now all we have to do is decorate. Phew!

She's Come So Far

Not every day is perfect. But when I think of how she was the ball of flaming anger and how much she has evolved I feel grateful for God's faithfulness. He never gives up on us. He is loving. He is present.  He has a sense of humor. He wants us to depend on him. Parenting like nothing else I've experienced reveals how desperately we need to depend on God. This little girl has shown me better than anything I cannot walk this journey called life alone. I am imperfect. I struggle. However, God is so much more than my shortcomings. Call me blessed to be covered by grace!
